[huskerlug] Re: Gentoo Network Help

I compiled it as part of the kernel.  It had a little (*) next to it.

Did you compile it as a module or as part of the kernel?
If it is a module, you need to add the module name to 
/etc/modules.autoload (ie: #echo "8139too" >> /etc/modules.autoload)
