[huskerlug] FFII: Software Patents in Europe

        Unfortunately, this is the deal on software patents.  It is also 
why Bill Gates loves them.  I think this link will take you to his 
comments.  Anyway, I got them by reading further on in the Knoppix 
link, and after another link or so, I got  this.
        Eveyone is going to have to move to Far East to continue with 
just about anything, if some of these guys have their way.  Since 
a lot of innovation comes from Europe, this can be hard on Open 
Source Software.   ---Jim
