Hello, I have used both Winlinux and Phat Linux. Both worked fine for me with the video card, monitor, modem, etc. Both uninstalled fine too. But if I were to choose I'd say you should pick Phat Linux over Winlinux just for the problems other people have had. Has anyone else tried Phat Linux? -Jordan Wilberding >From: Tim Bendt <gimk@xxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: huskerlug@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: huskerlug@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Subject: [huskerlug] Re: CSE Day >Date: Wed, 21 Mar 2001 19:41:57 -0800 (PST) >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from [216.34.13.240] by hotmail.com (3.2) with ESMTP id >MHotMailBC82C41600AB4004324CD8220DF020420; Wed Mar 21 20:01:26 2001 >Received: from lavender (localhost [127.0.0.1])by >lavender.frontend.namezero.com (8.11.2/8.11.2) with ESMTP id >f2M3wbC26971for <reter7@xxxxxxxxxxx>; Wed, 21 Mar 2001 19:58:37 -0800 (PST) >Received: from 4.3.52.230 (HELO avenir.dhs.org) (4.3.52.230) by lavender >with SMTP; Mar 21, 2001 7:58:36 PM PST >Received: from avenir.(none) (localhost [127.0.0.1])by avenir.dhs.org >(FreeLists Mail Multiplex) with ESMTPid 424DF8FD98; Wed, 21 Mar 2001 >22:42:29 -0500 (EST) >Received: with LISTAR (v1.0.0; list huskerlug); Wed, 21 Mar 2001 22:42:29 >-0500 (EST) >Received: from web515.mail.yahoo.com (web515.mail.yahoo.com >[216.115.104.230])by avenir.dhs.org (FreeLists Mail Multiplex) with SMTP id >24A8D8FD07for <huskerlug@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Wed, 21 Mar 2001 22:42:28 -0500 >(EST) >Received: from [199.240.129.200] by web515.mail.yahoo.com; Wed, 21 Mar 2001 >19:41:57 PST >From gimk@xxxxxxxxx Wed Mar 21 20:02:51 2001 >Delivered-To: huskerlug@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx >Message-ID: <20010322034157.16739.qmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >In-Reply-To: <3AB81404.13DEDCD2@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >X-archive-position: 248 >X-listar-version: Listar v1.0.0 >Sender: huskerlug-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >Errors-To: huskerlug-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >X-original-sender: gimk@xxxxxxxxx >Precedence: bulk >X-list: huskerlug >X-NZ-Hop-Count: 1 > > >Be carefully how much you promote Winlinux2000, i >installed it on a modest 450mHz Pentium III system >with 64mb of RAM, well it all went wrong.
