Actually using the default networking support in Win4Lin, a firewall is
implemented. Win4Lin is really just a packaged version of QEMU & KQEMU, so
the documentation on the QEMU site is informative.
See "3.7.3 Using the user mode network stack" in the QEMU documentation.

So, your a little more secure then I stated earlier in that there is
already a firewall running so you won't need to run one on your Virtualized
XP. Your Linux side IP address is the WAN as far as WinXP is concerned and
it's using NAT with an IP address set to 10.0.2.15 (the default).
If lisa's not going to read mail or accesses the internet, then you could
probably get by with just installing the free version of AVG as a precaution.
There are other ways to setup networking on Win4Lin such as setting up a
Bridge. In this case WinXP would have an IP address on the same subnet as
your Linux machine; essentially two interface cards would be seen on the
subnet, with one being a virtual interface. If this was the case, then you
could run a firewall on the Linux side and block all transactions from the
virtual interface to physical interface completely.
