Hi Dennis,
Neighbor's and the board have mentioned the trash on multiple occasions since
last Friday. While we understand we cannot tow the car we do at least need a
plan b as the area is looking like a landfill. Additionally, realtors have been
coming in to show homes and this does not help as a selling point.
The trash not being picked up between today and tomorrow is not an option.
Think good thoughts,

Just spoke to a police officer. He knocked on the door of the owner, but no
one answered. His hands are tied with regard to towing, but he did say that
he can put a five day sticker on it. If the car is not been moved within
five days they can tow it away.

I called. They are sending someone out to take a look.
However, this is not the first time someone has blocked this area. The
board or association needs to look into getting a no parking sign to place
in the grass there so that drivers can be on notice. Or we need to lobby
the city to get a sign placed at end of Hilliard.

I'm guessing that parking in front of the dumpster is technically
considered blocking a driveway. In this case, would someone call 911
and report it? Be sure to mention that the car is on Hilliard St. and
has been there for a week.
Thanks,
Alex

Seriously?? If they don't respond ASAP, tow that car. We need that trash
picked up ASAP. It's getting unwieldy out there. Broken trash
compactor... furniture being improperly disposed of... Argh!
