I'm thinking that it happens because in "Age and Gender Report" the age of a
client is calculated against the current date; ie. If I run reports for the
year of 2008 today, all ages are off by about 1 year.
That's why I have 18 individuals in the "0-19" bracket in Age & Gender stats,
but HPS report (just guessing) calculates it differently, possibly using report
date range, book in/out date or something similar to come up with the age, and
thus I get 24 people in my "0-19" bracket.
To confirm, I changed the System Date on my test machine to 2020 and ran both
"HPS" and "Age and Gender", and the HPS report gave me the same results,
whereas "Age and Gender" had +11 years in its client ages (no one was in the
0-19 category anymore).
I wonder how big of an effort it would be to change the age calculation in "Age
and Gender" to the same system "HPS" report uses?
