Roy, no one could question your contributions to the club. Your family, in
total, has also given more than could be hoped for.
While I, and my two sons who are/were juniors, could barely be labeled above
the shirker level. However, in this case it may be an advantage since I am not
part of any click on the hill. I barely know the people involved. So when I
mouth off it is clearly based on issues and not personalities.
Can you really believe that Sean could convince the Board of Directors to
reject someone for no legitimate reason? Frankly as little as I know Sean, I
can not imagine he would try.
Clearly there are some issues with Ryan that the rest of us do not have to know
about. There is a reason for having several people on a board. There is also a
reason for having some discussions in private. We should be able to trust that
the board as an entire group will look past personal piques and come to the
right decision based on facts that the entire membership has no business in
knowing.
