Thursday May 19, 2011 This scan just peaked my interest when I realized that Bill, WJ50 had made a scan during the same time period. We are about 350 miles apart. Bill heard 8 10m beacons and I heard 4. It looks like Bill heard at least three beacons by Sporadic E and I heard none via that mode. All my signals were via Trans EEK from SA. I guess this verifies the spotty nature of Sporadic E. Over the years I have often compared our logs. We usually hear at lot of the same beacons but at times our logs look nothing alike. Go figure. That's what makes this hobby so intriguing. Good job Bill. Thank You for all your efforts. It make Amateur Radio much more enjoyable. Start: 1725 UTC End: 1737 UTC 28.1960 LU4JJ Concordia,E.R.
