Hi Eric,
The SWC and a digital back will work superbly together. I'm using an H25
back from Phase One and am loving it. The 645 sensor with a 1.1 to 1 crop
factor gives me a 42mm biogon, I think the CFV would be a perfect mate for
an SWC. All the new backs have an anti reflective coating on the IR filter
so there is no problems with vignetting or sensor to rear element
reflection. The H20 from Phase One was the first to offer this on the built
in IR filter and you can buy a filter for the Kodak backs to do the same
thing, so I think it's only the oldest digital backs that have issues with
this.
Regards,
Franc

hmmm.. I read it worked well. Will do some reading.
Just booked a gig to some more theater work so that 16-35mm canon lens
I've been borrowing may get bumped up in purchase priority.

Eric... it probably will vignette in the corners.... the oblique angle of
the light rays in a SWC should be pretty severe.. even with the smaller
sensor that 6x6.....
Why not ask if anyone has tried this, and get a feel for the
results......I
might be 100% wrong......

Again.. thinking of introducing one to my CFV back.
I keep drooling over the Alpa TC but the price is nutso.
