It's not about sensor size nor about lens multiplication factor, it is all about angle of view.
Hasselblad ( the old FILM company) used to post the angle of view of each lens.
DIgital thingies seem to have owners that must relate the new angle of view from smalll digital sensors ( compared to 6x6cm) not by angle, but rather by lens Fl.
A 50mm lens always has a 50mm FL. If you take the 35mm negative, you get a different angle of view than if you use a 6x6 Hasselblad negative. ( Ditto for a 4x5 negative off that same 50mm lens.)
What many digital users of the landscape/architectural persuasion wish is large angles of view. Sports photographers wish small angles of view.
They won, for now.
It will be a while, and since Hasselblad no longer really supports the film camera users that made the company, it may never happen.
Sadly.
