As Bernard said, sticking a SLR camera onto the back of a view camera
is not a good idea. The mirror box will interfere with most camera
movements thus nullifying the reason for doing this is the first
place. Having a Hassy back adapter for the view camera makes good
sense. Those sliding adapters are a breeze to use. Far less problem
than the roll film adapters that require removing the whole GG back
before use. I have a roll film adapter for my 4x5, it slides into the
Graflok back just like a film holder.
