[HUG] motor f for 203fe questions

Saw a good price on a motor grip for my 203fe.
Anyone used this item?

Can I shoot with a cable release and have the camera adavance automatically?
IE - do you shoot using the normal release button?
Or to re-phras--- how does the grip work?!
