Eric.. I am missing something here..

 

If the SWC 38mm Biogon does not give you enough WA view as you want, then
what makes you think a Rodenstock ( for example only) 38mm lens will?  Or
any other 38mm lens from any camera ever made?

 

There is nothing magical about LF lenses in terms of Fl vs SENSOR image
size.  ALL 90mm lenses give the same image size on the same sensor, with the
camera at the same distance from the object..  Ditto all other Fl.

nope.. but yes about the SWC thing.

The deal is that CFV back has a 1.5 crop factor.

So that 38mm lens feels like 57mm (which is nice, but vanilla-blah)

And I've got a lovely 40mm CFE already (lucky me)
