So now we get t to the lens..

 

35mm FL Lenses..for LF photography..a short list...for architectural work,
not fisheyes...

Rodenstock Apo-Grandagon 35mm f/4.5

 

 

Enlarging lenses. no shutter.  You need to find a Leica Thread mount to
Copal #1 shutter adapter ring, and the shutter.   These may or may not cover
6x6

There have been some experimental lenses that would cover...finding one,
figuring out if it covers, and then getting rid of the ones that do not
cover, is a big problem.

There are a  few Zeiss lenses that would cover, but price is more than the
ARCBody + lenses

How about some Mamiya or Bronica  lenses from their MF designs..

 

Oh, did I mention the fact that digital sensors like to have light rays at
right angles to the sensor face, and WA lenses are not built that way?  (
Rectilenear WA lenses like the normal Hassy line with the mirror box are/may
be ok.)

When I get an idea stuck in my head... it just won't quit.

 

New thought (which hit me like a diamond bullet this AM).

 

Buy a broken 500CM body (~30-40 bucks).

Buy a wide angle large format lens 

Figure out the proper sensor to lens distance.

CUT hasselblad body to proper length - removing guts, mirror etc. 

Attach large format lens to front (method to be determined)

Figure out focusing mechanism..

Possible use bellows system in 2d version..

 

I already found a dead 500cm I can dismantle.

Essentially I am making an Alpa TC.
 

I want ultrawide, 35mm or less for coverage of the CFV's 4x4 sensor.

Oh mighty HUG, what lens woulf do the trick at maximum bang for the buck?
