Umm, it is the connector at the lens. It closes and makes continuity, when
the shutter is fully open.
The lens flash connection doesn't have anything to do with the back.
For the focal plane shutter, chances are that the flash connector closes
when the shutter curtains are fully open. Again, no relationship to what
the back is doing.

Can anyone tell me the how the flash trigger connector on Hasselblad
lenses works - I'm trying to debug a digital camera back installation,
but it's a little difficult when you don't know what's supposed to be
there :-)
