Nice to have a signed copy, Michael.
Yes, he is a great talent and has great humanism. I heard him speak and
show slides in Sydney some years ago about getting close and gaining
trust in his subjects. I feel sure he would use a Hasselblad apart from
stuff like that!?
As a biologist, I know the destruction of the Atlantic Forest in Brazil
has been massive, if not as well known as that of the much bigger
Amazon. So if somehow lots of millions fell in my lap (lottery?) and I
was absolutely convinced that his project is very effective, then I
might buy the cameras as a donation to the cause, because I would be
looking to fund some natural stuff anyway. Otherwise...
I do think adding $38 postage is a bit rich after spending $128 000!

myself and he graciously signed my book.
At $128,700, I'll pass on the Leica set though good cause or not.

The ebay post was not meant as spam, it was meant to be educational.
A well known photographer selling his cameras to reforest a
Brazillian rain forest I thought was worth passing on. My intent was
not trying to sell it but to inform. Who would pay 128,000 for a
camera, how crazy is that. That is more than I payed for my house
lol. In the past I have also tried to post links to Myspace where I
have my digipics posted, did not know that I could not do that. I
have seen people post links to their webpages. I guess I will not be
able to do that again.
