[HUG ] Re: contax

In my humble opinion, it is a matter of taste. Essentially, a camera is only worth what the lenses are. I owned a Contax 645 and had a Hassy 503 CW with some of the the best lenses (the 50FLE, 80mm CF, 180mm CFE). I had to let go of one of the systems a few months back. After much deliberation, I kept the Contax 645. The chromes from the Contax Zeiss have a very 3 dimensional look to them. Sharp witha perfect contrast. And the colors are a wee bit richer shot on the same emulsion. But I love the the square format of the Hasselblad.
