I bought a very nice 500C long time ago that caused all lenses to trip when
removed from the body.
The former owner once removed a blocked lens with force. That caused the
little lip to breal from the front key.
I had the camera repaired at considerable cost only because it was a near
mint one.

Ivan,
In most cases, when a lens "trips" or fires when removed from a camera
body, it is because the front key position on the camera body is a little
bit too low, and needs to be adjusted. When a lens is sluggish, especially
at the slower shutter speeds, it is because the lens needs to be cleaned,
lubricated and adjusted.

I have been using a Hasselblad 500 C/M system for the last year, on loan
from my employer who has gone totally digital. It is unlikely that they
will pay for any more repairs and I am afraid that if they end up facing
a repair bill may send the entire outfit to government surplus. If I had
the opportunity to purchase the system I would but it does not work that
way and it would be just as easy to buy another system as this one.
The problem is that the lens I use the most the 80 mm Planar T* uncocks
every time I dismount the lens and the 100mm lens’ shutter is slow,
especially on the slower speeds. I am wondering what makes the 80 uncock
and how expensive would it be to fix? Both the 150 and the 50 also work
flawlessly on unmounting. I do have a shutter tester so can work out the
true shutter speeds for the 100 and work according. It would be nice to
not have to do this though.
