[HUG] Re: THE SWC

Hello Tom,

I do not know what planet you were on but the SWC 905 was discontinued
two years ago. Sorry for that.
In good Hasselblad tradition it was not removed from their website untill recently.

You may also find the 30 mm CFi, 180 CFE, the 350 CFE SA there.
I did not check maybe they were removed too as all these are discontinued as well. I have not seen one yet but the 80 mm CFE is supposed to become a CFi meaning
it will be supplied without databus contacts for the 200 series cameras.
So for those with 200 series cameras the only lenses with databus are the 40 IF and
the 120 CFE.
I wonder how long those are going to last. I suppose till stocks in Sweden are gone.

It is a sad development but considering sales volume is low what do you expect.
The fact that the 80 mm was converted to CFi may indicate Hasselblad ordered
another batch of these lenses.Let's hope there is some life left in the V system.

Richard

Have you noticed that the SWC905 is no longer to be found on Hasselblad's V-series pages? Is it no longer offered? I looked it up to find something about the number of exposures that the Compur shutter is supposed to take. Do anyone remember?
