[HUG] Re: TESTING; no posts

Dear List members,

         I want to apologise for the non-appearance of Bob Kiss at the Bob
Kiss Testimonial Dinner and Presentation of Honours. I realise that a lot of
you travelled for a considerable distance and spent a great deal of money on
the presentation gifts, but rest assured that the committee will make sure
that all of you are reimbursed. The firm that donated the 70 Mtr. luxury
cabin cruiser has generously offered to write it off as a tax loss and the
proceeds will be used to repay your air fares and hotel bills. We have a
list of the jewellery and other gifts you had brought for him and these will
be returned by courier.

        The only explanation I can offer you is the same one that I gave to
the President and Her Majesty - apparently the lazy toad was sitting on a
computer trying to log onto lists that had been shut down while we were
waiting for him in the Great Hall.
