James,
Shoot RAW only. Import into LR as DNG. Export from LR for the web or
other viewing options as JPG.
As you import your RAW images into LR, you can specify that they are
converted to DNG. It will automatically convert all of the images as
they are imported. proPhotoRGB is the widest color gamut so you should
use it.

Hello everyone, I know this is not a hasselblad queston but was
wondering. When I'm converting Raw files should format to JPEG, PSD,
TIFF or DNG. How about color space? Don't know what that is. sRGB,
AdobeRGB(1998), proPhotoRGB or something else I guess there are even
more option. I'm usung Lightroom2. Oh yea is there a way to convert
a batch, I have been doing one at a time. Yes it is OK to laugh at
me if you want I'm new to this. I bought digital to have fun not to
be to serious and here I go. Thanks a lot keep shooting miss you
guys posting. Went to Yosimite took some pics, main thing was to get
engaged. Asked the queston below Yosemite Falls. Have fun
