As between JPEG and PSD, I have been told that PSD is best because JPEG files loose quality and detail every time it is opened and closed.

Hello everyone, I know this is not a hasselblad queston but was wondering. When I'm converting Raw files should format to JPEG, PSD, TIFF or DNG. How about color space? Don't know what that is. sRGB, AdobeRGB(1998), proPhotoRGB or something else I guess there are even more option. I'm usung Lightroom2. Oh yea is there a way to convert a batch, I have been doing one at a time. Yes it is OK to laugh at me if you want I'm new to this. I bought digital to have fun not to be to serious and here I go.
