Well, I finally go my SWC/M back from its service with David Knapman
and it is now looking and operating pretty much like new :-)
Mine is an SWC/M with CF lens and new style viewfinder (which means I
have bubble levels on both the finder and the body). I had the front
bayonet ring replaced with a new plastic one - much nicer to use and
of course it doesnt show scratches like the metal one used to.
In the end I opted for a brand new A12 back with darkslide holder and
I am really glad I did (thanks to those of you who recomended the new
A12 over the previous model), the darkslide holder makes little
difference to camera size, especially the SWC/M and makes using the
camera much much easier - just whip out the darkslide and put it in
the back.
Antonio
