My first Hassy was an ELM which I got in October 1979.
Shooting an event with it was quite a challenge. I did a couple.
Sounds like a metal munching monster but then who cares its intended use
could not be construed as needing to be low key.
I didn't find the noise of my CM a problem which I got in '92
Sometimes I'd pre pop just to deal with that issue not vibration at a
critical juncture.
I came from a lot of Hassy experience when I used that current SWC in Th
year 2000. No mirror. No motor.
"bang!"
Inexcusable. Amazing!
They lost a sale on that one.
I heard you can bring it to a guy and he'd quiet it down.

I did loose a job once because I didn't have a blimp for my Nikons.
I should have shot Jane Seymour and made a pile of cash! Lost out!

I just noticed a double page spread of blimps in the B&H catalog for the
first time. Still very much needed the film industry a major contender.
