[HUG ] Re: SV: Re: SV: Re: Dollar fall kills Hasselblad? (and Leica?)

Last time I checked, the Canadian Looney was not pegged to the US dollar.

- And countries with currencies pegged to the US$. Like China, Singapore,
Thailand, Canada half of South America - and so on.

- If so, Hasselblad is selling it with a 30% loss compared to 18 months ago.

They do. See my earlier post. My newly bought 1Ds III is the cheapest of the
three large Canon D-SLR's I have bought:

1Ds (2003) NOK 52.000
1Ds II (2006) NOK 48.000
1Ds III (2008) NOK 45.000 - could have saved an additional few thousand NOK by
waiting another week or two.

- No they don't.

- There is no reason to cry yourself to sleep over the 'poor European'. They
have never been richer compared to other peoples. - Particularly after cost of
kids education, health care, pension etc. Very much thanks to strong
currencies. - Etc.
