Bernard,

Several of Canon's lenses works very well with 1Ds II.  Like the new 16-35 mm 
2,8L II and the 35 mm 1,4L, 24-70 mm 2,8L etc. - Further; I am sure that the 
new 14 mm 2,8L will be just excellent.
