[HUG] Re: Positiive or Negative color film?

Rob,

I can't really answer the question about C41 vs E6 film on scanners but there
is a great little lab here in the Albuquerque area that only processes film.
They process E-6 daily and C-41 3 days a week (no proofs on the C41). They
accept mail orders and can get the film back to you in a short period of time
(2-3 days, including shipping).

Subject: [HUG] Positiive or Negative color film?

Thanks to everyone who have helped me.

Another question please.

Should one shoot positive or negative film if their goal is high resolution
digital scans?

I have been told that the color of the base film material causes a problem.

And that scanners are or were designed as slide scanners and not film
scanners.

There is a great lab in Reseda, CA, about 10 miles drive.

Their prices a very affordable!

Buy they only process C41.
