Dear Richard,

         Thank you for warning Mad Jo about the peas. I will mention the pie
shop to her - the one in the High St. of Woolwich. It is clean and
comfortable and seemed on last visit to be well patronised by the local
townspeople. It served the worst pies in Britain, and I am including Wales
in that. I do not believe the pies were actually poisonous, in a chemical
sense, and so escaped the attention of the police or the coroner. They were,
however, bad enough to require the more movable pieces of ordnance at the
nearby Rotunda artillery museum to be chained in place lest they be rolled
down the High St. and used for vengeance.

PS: How long do you think we can keep this up before we get a howl of
protest from the UK? The last week in November is Poke The Poms Until They
Shriek Week.
