Per,
I bought a 60120m FE courtesy of Jim Brick's advice. In the process, I
scrounge around for a lens hood , the Polarizer filter, and Polarizer
Filter ring. It took awhile and I should be receiving the items shortly.
If the lens hood is NOT the correct 60-120mm, but the deeper one made
for the 350mm FE lens, would this created any problem for me in use of
any of the 93mm filters? Especially for the 93mm Polarizer, would there
be vignetting at the corners of my image? I do not have the lens hood
yet, but if it creates problems, I will return it and search out a
60-120mm lens hood.
Could I use a SW 86mm polarizer filter on this lens and would there be
any problems with a smaller filter?
I been shooting with this lens hand held and its quite heavy, but sharp
and contrast y. Its a wonder that this lens was never made or the the
idea suggested for the 500 series version. Being that it is a of a
modern design and has the latest multi coating, how does this lens
compare to the Contax 645 45-90mm zoom, the Rollei 60-140mm, and the
Pentax 45-85mm? The mentioned zooms are all of recent manufacture and
are of modern design.
Evan
