DEAR UNK,
One more thing to consider: Remember that electronic flash units can
have flash durations from as long as (approx) 1/250 to as short as ten
thousandths of a second, depending on MANY factors. If you are
photographing "swirling" motion, depending on your unit(s) and power
settings, your duration may be long enough to render motion blur when viewed
close enough/at enough magnification.
So, in too many words, I am agreeing with all previous posts that
suggest you do a comparative lens test on a stationary target with all
factors controlled.
CHEERS!
BOB

Are the prints actually sharper, or do they have higher contrast?
I know that when the CFi (CFe?) version of the 120 came out, one of the
claimed
improvements was higher contrast, especially in a studio situation where you
may
have lights just outside the frame.
