[HUG] Re: OUCH ! need a softrelease for my 500 c/m

I agree with Jim, although, in fairness, the Hasselblad was made to be hand
held-able... I remember a big deal in a book about how to hold a
Hasselblad for off the arm exposures.....and how Victor liked to take bird
pictures... hand held. Of course, there is that famous Hasselblad shoulder
mount.... It must have as comfortable as a rock.

I had to hand hold it for one location.... had to go down ladders, no
tripods allowed.... so I hand held it..... sitting it down on rocks,
benches, and other paraphernalia.... it worked.

But I still agree with Jim.....Leica = Hand Held Hasselblad = Tripod.

Jim, are you kidding??
I have some pretty strong evidence Hasselblad cameras were meant to be used
handheld as well.
I have at least 12 pictures from Victor Hasselblad where he uses the 500 C
and the later 500 CM handheld.
