[HUG] OUCH ! need a softrelease for my 500 c/m

OUCH! That shutter release on the 500 c/m can really start to hurt your
finger after a day's shooting.

Tom Abrahamson's mini-softie is supposed to work.
I have the standard size softrelease for my Leica M, but it doesn't screw
into the 500's release barrel
The screw seems too skinny.
Plus it would too wide anyway - and hit the lens.

 What 'soft' releases do you all use?
