That news is correct.
The films will not be marketed as Polaroid for the time being but they
are made in the old Polaroid plant in Holland.
The other probably good news is the actual process is new because vital
parts of the production process
for Polaroid films are no longer available.
The restart is an initiative from a shop owner in Austria who sold
anything Polaroid and former members of staff
from Polaroid in Holland.
It is possible larger formats will become available later.

DEAR LISTS,
There are posts on the Photo Conservation List about a
company in the Netherlands trying to revive the manufacture of Polaroid
instant films.
Though I consider the currently available Fuji Instant Film
far superior to what Polaroid offered, they only make it in medium
format. I would love access to 4X5 and 8X10 Polaroid film again!
CHEERS!
