Hello Joanne,

Being purely practical, the cheapest source of film and many other
photo products is mail order from 7dayshop.com (either online or by
phone). They also do decent processing but other labs such as Peak and
Metro are also excellent. Jessops are now virtually all digital and
don't do any used equipment but still glare at customers free of
charge.
