Hello Bob,
You probably mean David Knapman.
David is the former factory trainer who taught many wel respected technicians
the secrets of Hasselblad cameras.
He is still active restoring older Hasselblads from the pre '57 era.
I think he can also help owners with a 2000 series body.
He does not spend time behind a computer but can be reached at certain hours by
telephone and likes to devote his time to cameras that need his attention.
His job took him to Hasselblad distributors all over the world who had a
repairservice for cameras.
Talking to him is a real pleasure for two reasons: he knows a lot about
cameras and still has
his wonderfull sense of humor although he left England over 35 years ago.
Do not forget to ask him about his time im Moskou where he taught Russian
repairmen
to service Hasselblad cameras.
Cheers,
Richard

Subject: [HUG ] KNOW THIS PERSON?
DEAR LIST,
Does anyone know of someone whose name is, I believe, David
Lappman (spelling???), in Sweden. He has a camera repair service in
Landvetter, Sweden. Does anyone have an e-mail address, phone, and/or fax
number for him?
CHEERS FROM BARBADOS!
BOB
