Hi Rich,

I just finished selling my Hassy V system on ebay and netted enough to buy a 
used H3D39 kit, 28mm, 50-110mm and a 1.7x converter, I still need to add a few 
lenses but it's a great start. I'm finding most of the stuff is going to China 
& Japan but I think I did OK.  Watching this stuff sell on ebay in the last 3 
months I see that sellers who limit there sales to USA are getting about 30-40% 
less than those willing to sell to the rest of the world.

p.s.  Have a look at viewscan if you think Silverfast is good, viewscan blows 
it out of the water with features at a whole lot less.

  I will have to hold on to my hassi stuff untill it goes up enough to buy me a 
descent DSLR... I am debating between Nikon and Canon... either a D700 or a 5D. 
 Everyone is so broke right now nothing is selling for much.

  Scanned with a Nikon Coolscan 8000ED. 
  SL66 system is cheaper, more flexible (tilt/shift and bellows built in, 
120/220 on the same back, can reverse lenses), same glass, and lighter (no leaf 
shutters). I used to carry a Flexbody, extension tubes, and 2 backs plus 3 or 4 
lenses in a large pack. This kit will fit in a mini-trekker. When I sold my 
hassy, I was able to buy a pretty high end digital SLR system AND this system. 
Worked out well for me...
