Dear Uncle Dick,
I have a crate of those old flashbulbs lying about.
Some used and some unused.
It is hard for me to tell the difference as I will not get my new glasses
untill after Christmas.
I only use these at weddings to draw attention from people attending to take a
groupphoto.
Wedding business is slow so I might as well make some money from them.
There are also two original lampholders.
My wife used a few of these bulbs in the lamp over the kitchen table.
She complained these lamps do not last long.
She accused the manufacturer of supplying lamps with an ultra short life to
increase sales.
Let me hear what your requirements are.
Regards,
Richard

Dear Friends,
I don’t want to set the woods on fire….I just want to start a
flame in your hearts. Actually I DO want to set the woods on fire…. with light
– and I want to do the same in old railway tunnels and suchlike places. I have
found that the classic #5, #5B, #6 flashbulbs are just what I need for this
task – I use an 80mm “C” lens with the appropriate M flash setting and an open
flash.
To do so, I need more bulbs. I scour eBay for them, but I also
wondered if I could impose upon the generosity of the group. Does anyone out
there in Hasselblad land have access to some of these fine old light bulbs? Can
I purchase them from you? You can have them back when I am finished with them….
Please contact me directly off the list and we can come to an
agreement.
Uncle Dick
