[HUG ] FS Friday

Huggies:

After months of deliberation and procrastination, I'm selling my Hasselblad 
body, lenses, and odd bits. The world of cameras, if not photography, has 
gotten so weird these last years that who knows how to value a traditional 
Hasselblad any more, at least in dollars. 

I'm only listing some of the larger items first; I dread the thought of 
successfully selling all the backs and shades and extension rings and such, but 
not the body and lenses, and being left with, for my purposes, a totally 
emasculated kit.

I've done the completed auction searches at ohBoy and gathered some used 
dealers' prices in attempting to find some asking prices for the gear. What 
I've come up with may or may not suit anyone else's computations.

Sentimentally, it's a sad day. I've done this once before, in 1988, to raise 
money for an extended trip overseas. I sold my entire system to Ken Hansen for 
pennies on the dollar.

FWIW, I'm not going digital, I'm concentrating on 35mm b+w film. On this count 
- shooting b+w film - even my 90 y.o. mother thinks I'm an idiot.

Listwise, I didn't know where everyone had gone, just stumbled across this new 
list by accident. Do you remember the first time you realized that the hip 
crowd had their own parties?
