Years ago when I was using a Mamiya 645 system, I made a number of expoures
in Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, and in the Sainte Chappelle, with 400 speed
color film, a 55 mm lens wide open, at 1/15th sec. (There was no mirror
lockup
and using a monopod or tripod was not possible) Most of them were good
enough to make 20x24 prints. I leaned against a wall, and braced the camera
with
my arms against my chest. I expect the same would hold for Hasselblad, but
in my old age taking a Hasselblad on a trip to Europe is not in the cards.
Now I take a Canon G9 and lean against a wall and brace my arms against my
chest. The RAW files can be enlarged to 30x40 or larger! David at the top
