My daughter and I just got back from a trip to NYC.  She is trying to decide 
which university to go to, and one of the options is NYU.  I can attest to how 
everything seems to be different, and more expensive in NYC.  As an example, 
here in Maine, going to a matinee movie costs $4.  On the NYU tour, we were 
told that one benefit of being an NYU student is that you can get discount 
tickets to the movie theatres - only $9 per ticket!  I can well imagine M8s 
being sold in the drug stores.

To bring this back to a photographic bent, I would note that I brought a Bessa 
R2M with the new 35mm f1.4 lens (SC)  with me, and was shooting Ilford HP5+  I 
have processed but not printed the film, and it looks nice!
