[HUG] Re: CDS Prism (was)PME-3 and 51

It is a very simple calibration..... This is true on almost all the older
analog meter-meters.

But it is not something that is easy to do at home... It requires a standard
light source to be correct.....

If you are located in the US, I would suggest Quality Light Metrics...
Hollywood. Great service.

Subject: [HUG] CDS Prism (was)PME-3 and 51

Good info on the newer prisms.

I have a 'original' CDS 45 deg prism. My battery is dead and I was wondering
if a repair depot could recalibrate it to use an easily available battery.
I'd like to use it both with a standard screen and an Accumat D screen. Any
trick to doing that or does it need to be recalibrated?

Thanks.

Jeff
