Jeff,
Look here for an adapter to replace the mercury 1,35 V batteries by common
silveroxide 1,55 V: http://www.paulbg.com/batt-adapt-US.pdf . I did it, it
works. On the right hand side of the meter you can choose different
correction factors. Using this would be the easiest way to account for
screens of different brightness. You can find a manual of the CdS meter at
http://www.hasselbladhistorical.eu/PDF/HasManuals/CDSPrism.pdf .

Good info on the newer prisms.
I have a 'original' CDS 45 deg prism. My battery is dead and I was wondering
if a repair depot could recalibrate it to use an easily available battery.
I'd like to use it both with a standard screen and an Accumat D screen. Any
trick to doing that or does it need to be recalibrated?
Thanks.
Jeff
