James,
Hasselblads and Rolleis were invented as 'square' cameras, 'square'
seers. Anytime you try to fool the camera (try to make it something
that it isn't) the system usually rebels with some retribution of some
sort, some unwillingness to cooperate. I suggest that you take a piece
of masking tape and cover the '16' on the back, and write '12' on the
masking tape. This should fool the camera into think that you are
using a 12 back, and everything should work reasonably normally. Or
not - depends upon how smart your camera is...
Good luck,
Jokingly yours...
;-)

I'm shooting with a 16 back using 120 film, the problem is when I
advance the film it does not advance all the way. There are two
little pyramid marks on the winder it only gets to the first one,
which is smaller than the other one. The mirror is still in the up
postion, so I put the dark slide back in and take off the back then
advanc it. What is going on, is that what you suppose to do? Thank
you ....James
