i'm asking hereby if someone can produce a patch to add hashcash to
thunderbird, and post on there.

a few moons ago, I tried to figure out how to make an extension to thunderbird
just for a generic "this is spam" button but the doco's were quite opaque. has
the situation gotten any better?
