Any kmail users? This bit of info from the kmail hashcash support bug sounds like kmail may have a way to hook hashcash in already by using a filter? Probably hashcash-sendmail would be easiest way to get such a filter (it does this plus queuing, queuing could not be used here but header parsing and X-Hashcash header insertion is exactly as needed I think).
