Arg.  I forgot to say that the hooks work with message-mode, which,
AFAIK, is different from mail-mode.  For mail-mode, I assume you just
change "message-send-hook" to "mail-send-hook".

(message-mode is used in gnus.  I think that RMail uses mail-mode, but
I'm not sure.  I don't know about the MH, mew, or any other emacs mail
readers.)

If you want to call it manually type Meta-:, then type
"(mail-add-payment)".

P.S.  You don't need to CC me, since I'm reading the list through
