Jonathan: is your athlon XP 2Ghz a 2400+? or is it a rather overclocked
2000/2200+?
It's actually a 2500+, standard speed 1.83GHz with 512K cache. The
cache size makes no difference to hashcash, as long as the code fits in
the L1 I-cache (only a problem for ancient CPUs).
