[hashcash] Re: 1.06 fails to build - freeBSD

Hi

I just released a 1.07 version see:

        http://www.hashcash.org/source/CHANGELOG

for details.

I tried to clean up the makefile issues by having a GNUmakefile (which
gnu make will use in preference to other makefiles) and a more general
Makefile.

Also made the changes that I could remember from what you had to
change to get it to compile. Give it a try anyway.

        http://www.hashcash.org/source/hashcash-1.07.tgz
        http://www.hashcash.org/source/hashcash-1.07.tgz.asc

also now have better randomness on windows using CAPI rng calls. And
it still compiles on MINGW.

All I need now for complete happiness is to succeed in getting MINGW
to run under WINE so I don't need to use windows to make a build.

(I have build and upload script that pretty much rpm packages, signs
etc and places in all the right places on the web site; adding windows
build to this script would be nice).

Uh... I think probably just toasted the gentoo .ebuild -- I think it
will be editing Makefile but running from GNUmakefile. Oh well
perhaps a 1.08 in due course.
