I think that is a pretty good account of WC06.

It is too bad about WC07. It sounds like you did all you could. Next
year should be better both because you guys will spend more time
planning it and also because we will likely be celebrating at least
the alpha or beta release of Haiku R1 :)

Also I know you guys like to host WalterCon at "touristy" places, but
I would say any location which presents troubles like San Francisco
should be quickly dropped. Which means you need several options and
need to start early of course ;)

Lastly I do Ruby on Rails for work and could probably put together a
robust registration site quickly, but I don't know if the haiku-os.org
web host support RoR or even whether you guys want RoR mixed with PHP
on the site (even on a subdomain.) But let me know if you are
interested.
