I'm not bay area - but I'm 3 hours away.

I was one of the ones still considering whether I would make it, and
let DW know via email that I wasn't sure yet - primarily due to
conflicting plans.

If push came to shove, I probably could have re-arranged my plans and
attended in order to meet a minimum attendance requirement. I can
still probably pull this off if it will "save the conference" :)

Scott, if you were going, that would give have given me a little more
incentive to go as well, since I would like to meet you in person :D

Maybe that's something that will help "sell" WalterCon each year - a
running list of people confirmed going - and a list of people
considering. I know I've asked several people if they're going, only
to hear they can't - so my incentive was lower.
